Rep. Wakeman’s plan to allow swim-up bars in Michigan signed into law

State Rep. Rodney Wakeman is joined by representatives from the Bavarian Inn in Frankenmuth as Gov. Gretchen Whitmer signs his measure allowing swim-up bars in Michigan. House Bills 5983-84, now Public Acts 99 and 100 of 2022, allow businesses to operate swim-up bars while following certain safety guidelines. From left: Chris Fisher from Midwest Strategy Group; Rep.
